Questions

What people ask before they start.

Do you need my Mero Share or TMS password?

No, never. You download the files yourself and bring them in. Nobody from us will ever ask for a password.

Will it tell me what to buy or sell?

No. It shows facts and arithmetic, with where each number came from. Charts describe what a price did; they never say buy, sell or hold.

Where do prices come from?

Each trading day’s open, high, low, close and volume, via ShareSansar after the market closes, and earlier years from open archives of the same data. They value your own holdings and draw the charts. End of day only: nothing live.

Why is my average cost different from Mero Share’s?

Usually because a purchase has no price in the history, or because Mero Share counts bonus shares at Rs 100 though they cost nothing. The app shows both figures and says why they differ. How average cost works

Can I look after more than one person’s shares?

Yes. Add each person, import their files, and see them one at a time or all together.

Which files can I bring in?

My Transaction History and the WACC report from Mero Share, and the trade book from each broker’s TMS, as CSV, Excel (.xlsx) or PDF. How to download them

What if I bring in the same file twice?

Nothing is counted twice: every row is matched against what’s already saved, and trades by their exchange trade number.

Can I get my data out, or delete it?

Yes. From your account you can download everything as a file, or delete it all. Deleting can’t be undone.

Is there a Nepali version?

It’s being written, and checked by a native writer before it’s switched on.
